Hey honeybuns. Let’s jump right into this. Has everyone seen this photo of Kelly Roland? She looks absolutely amazing. I can’t wait until this weather breaks so I can have a chic sheer moment. No bras allowed, probably just nude nipple covers. I’m in the itty bitty titty committee. We can get away with no bras. But that’s another conversation.

This is one sexy ass song. I’ve truly been under a rock. Why didn’t I know who this man is? This song and “I Want You” made my back arch. Owww!
Musical Motivation- Tamar Braxton “Love and War”
I know this song came out a few months ago but I can’t get it out of my head. Its for a good reason though, I love it. I rarely listen to the radio these days because I don’t like the quality of music being produced, even by some of the biggest stars. This song reminds me of a real old school R&B song. You relate to it when you hear it. You want to play it. It evokes a certain emotion, takes you somewhere. That’s what music is suppose to do. Not to mention she, her, Tamar did that on the vocals. She sounds amazing.
When I do fall in love I’ll really blast it. Way to go Tamar.

Musical Motivation- Solange Knowles “Losing You”
This girl clearly walks to the beat of her own drum and it works for her. She is a prime example of what being true to yourself can lead to. The beat is ridiculous and the tone and feel is unlike anything we’ve heard before. Much needed right now, because I’m too bored with the music that’s out there. Check out her True album, its everything.
Can’t leave without mentioning the colorful fashions. Only Solange can rock a orange suit with pumps. Love the curly always. xo
Musical Motivation- Nas featuring Amy Winehouse “Cherry Wine”
This is my absolute favorite song on the whole album. “Where is he the man who is just like me? Heard he was hiding somewhere I can’t see? Amy’s voice sends chills through my body. I don’t think anyone else could’ve sang her part. I love the message. Everyone is looking for their life partner. This song is pure fire.
Musical Motivation- Nas “Bye Baby”
I absolutely love this song. I love his whole album but his vulnerability on this record is what makes it so special. Its just so real. I think I got a crush. (i’m blushing)
Musical Motivation- Dawn Richard’s Wild N’ Faith
While it seems like proteges of Diddy usually fall off and end up on the where are they now posts, Dawn Richard is set to prove that she is indeed a gem and its her turn to shine. Polished and stacked (check out her toned legs in this video), Dawn is standing tall ready to set herself apart from the rest.
Her voice has always commanded solo attention but now you have no choice but to listen as she belts out these two songs. Also, the visual component of this video is nothing short of amazing. Dawn Richard is not the girl we’ve watched on Making the Band and singing beside Diddy. She has stepped into her own and this video shows her growth. I love the drama of the costumes, the headgear, nails, make up etc. but the choreography stands out, especially watching Dawn do the heel toe in what looks like 6 inch heels. It’s clearly your time honeybun, go get your blessing!!!!!
Musical Motivation- Brandy featuring Chris Brown “Put it Down”
Mo to da, E to the da. Moesha done grown up and wants a dude who can Put It Down. Brandy done stepped her game all the way up and is proving that she’s ready to compete on the next level for longevity in this music game. In this video she even busts a serious whine, hitting dance moves we’re not quite used to seeing her produce. But she delivers and Chris Brown’s sexy ass is just in here being Chris Brown’s sexy ass.
Ms. Norwood has stepped her styling game up as well. Although she rocks her lace fronts in this she also reps for us curly haired girls with a big curly fro. She also rocks waist length thick single braids and her make up is flawless. Alright now Ms. Brandy. I’m rooting for ya. Check the video out honeybuns. I liked it.
