Beauty on The Corner- Azealia Banks X MAC Cosmetics
So I know I’m super late and need to be sent to the principle’s office but I don’t know a thing about Azealia Banks except she wears a really long wig and she is always beefing with someone on twitter. But apparently, I’m missing out on something because ole girl has enough clout to collaborate with MAC on a new deep plump shade named after her called Yung Rapunzel. The dark shade drops just in time for New York Fashion Week and Fashion Night Out festivities on Sept. 5th and 6th. I’m sure it’ll be a fall/winter fashion staple amongst fashionistas old and young, light to dark.
What do you all think of the shade?
Make Up on The Corner- MAC Cosmetics
This is what my cousin/make up artist/ace does when her kids are asleep and she’s bored. I’m going to get her to do a tutorial for Aj’s Corner. She’s a MAC Artist and she so rocks. Look at how neat everything is. Amazeballs!!!!
Beauty on The Corner- The Make Up Show NYC
More pics from the make up show. Yes that woman has eyes on top of her eyes, there’s horns coming out of that woman’s face and the Mehron model lost her top and got painted. Make up is definitely art.
Beauty on The Corner- The Make Up Show in NYC
Today, I accompanied my cousin a make up artist (fanatic) to the Make Up Show in Manhattan. It was four floors of seminars, products, demonstrations and make up lovers. A complete mad house. The top brand of the day in my opinion was Inglot. Their wide color range in everything from foundation to nail polish lit up the center of the first floor. Great prices (40% off regular store prices) and a create your own palette set up made for a very busy table. The downside, their customer service and organization for dealing with a slew of customers sucked. Overall, I had a great time in make up land.
Check out the pics of a few people I caught walking around.
Statement Makeup- Black Swan
So despite Mother Nature going through some emotional issues many are going out to Halloween parties tonight. Why not add some umph to your look with statement makeup. Our go to Mac Cosmetics Artist, Keanda S. shows how to go Black Swan with bold eyes and bolder lips. Take note and go and stand out from the rest.
Note- Keanda is on the right. On the ladies lips, left Rebel Lipstick, right Dark Knight lipglass
Statement Make Up - Sultry Eyes
Ladies, you do not have to do a dark smokey eye to have your peepers say come here baby. Check out Mac Artist, Keanda’s blue lined eyes. It screams sexy with black liner, long lashes and a pale pink lip to balance it out and draw attention to the focal point, the eyes.
Dare to be different and try your own sultry eye look with your favorite color. Note how she added shadow to the bottom of the eye as well to really make them pop. Now go speak the language of sexy, with your eyes!
