Life on The Corner- Oprah Covers Forbes 400 30th Anniversary Issue Oprah often says that her life’s work is to be a teacher and to give. Whether its knowledge, a car, a house, or a college education the media powerhouse has been giving for decades. I’ve read that great givers are great getters, I guess we can understand how she’s attained such great wealth. She not only has a great bank account but a great spirit. The photo for the cover was taken at the Forbes 400 Summit on Philanthropy, “a chance for the world’s most successful people to use their resources and the mindset that built that success to try to solve the world’s most intractable problems.”  Oprah was one of the 12 greatest living philanthropists in the world. They are: Warren Buffett, Bill Gates, Melinda French-Gates, Pete Peterson, Leon Black, Jon Bon Jovi, Marc Benioff, David Rubenstein, Steve Case, Laura Arrillaga-Andressen and Marc Andressen. They all equal $126 billion all in one place with one goal, to change the world. I can’t wait until the world philanthropist follows my name.
