Natural Hair on The Corner- Miss Jessies Super Sweetback Treatment (Winter Hair Care)
So the lovely ladies over at Miss Jessies has done it again. I love the Super Sweetback Treatment. Its a deep conditioner that has my hair absolutely soft and smelling oh so sweet. No, like seriously, its been 3 days since I used it and I can still smell the fragrance in my hair. Its not a harsh or overbearing smell. Its a little yummy. Someone will want to snuggle close and its cold as hell in NYC right now so that may be a goal of yours.
Anyway, the temperatures outside are harsh and you need to make sure your hair is as strong as possible. You want to combat dryness and make sure there’s no breakage from your winter accessories or just plain ole neglect. Go out and grab this. I think you’ll enjoy it.

Happy New Year Honeybuns. We’ve made it to a new year. I know I haven’t posted in a while. That’s because I’ve been learning, planning, and creating. This year the blog will be so much better. There are many things that I want to touch on. This past year has been a transition period for me. Its like I’m coming into myself (if that makes any sense).
This year I plan to:
- Showcase more looks and options for us tall girls.
- More beauty reviews, tips, and even tutorials.
- Sharing the products and techniques that work for my natural hair. Hoping it will inspire and help you all on your journey.
- Branching out and having fun with lifestyle projects.
Just all around living. After all, The Corner is where “Fashion and Beauty illuminates life”. I thank you all for coming on my journey with me, as I figured this blogging thing out and I look forward to sharing more with you again this year.

Fashion on The Corner- All Black for a Holiday Soiree
So my aunt had a party last night to celebrate her 70th birthday and I was stuck like what shall I wear? While I’m very into color, I love to step out in all black. The silver accessories, red lip, and vintage teal stole added just the right amount of pop without doing too much. And yes the heels were 4.5 inches, I rep for my tall girls all day.
